SlamBox - For The Love of Sound

I have had a passion for music my whole life.  Years ago, we were introduced to the portable bluetooth speaker, and boy were they cool.  Like many others, I embraced the ability to have a portable speaker which I could take to the beach, on the boat, and to the pool.  After years of paying good money for units that would ultimately fail, I decided to do something about it.  Enter the slambox prototype.  I wanted to create a large yet portable audio system that has enough output for open spaces, is water resistant, and has enough power on board to run a few accessories.  That part was easy.  This thing needed to be repairable and upgradable as well.  No more throwing things away.  That part was harder.  I decided to build the cabinets out of birch for strength and moisture resistance.  I sprayed the box with Raptor Liner and made it tough.  I then drew from my experience in the marine industry and sourced the best marine grade speakers, amps, stereos, batteries, and wire.  After years of tweaks, it is time for the world to meet our vision.  The SlamBox800 Ultra.

When designing SlamBox, it was immediately apparent that we needed a very tough and high capacity battery.  We use Lithium Iron Phosphate deep cycle batteries in our products.  Our goal was to provide a minimum eight hours of runtime at moderate volume levels.  Goal achieved.  SlamBox800 Ultra will play for a minimum of eight hours and can go a while longer at lower volume levels.  SlamBox800 Ultra will come with a smart charger that is fully automatic and very easy to use.  

SlamBox800 Ultra charges through a female 12V locking port.  This port can also output 12V DC.  This is a very common port which will accept 1000's of accessories and provide the power you need.  The port can provide up to 5 amps DC of current.  One of our favorite uses is to blow up a few tubes at the beach or pool party with a 12V inflator.  Beats the heck out of the old fashioned way.  

We make as much of our SlamBox in house as possible.  Raw wood comes in, and finished SlamBoxes come out.  We in house design and process all of our wood work, acrylics, 3D printed components, and wiring harness'  All SlamBox units are coated in Raptor Liner coating.  Custom colors are available upon request for an extra charge.  We can also add company logos, names, and just about anything else to a SlamBox, just ask.  

SlamBox800 Ultra carries various warranty coverage terms.   

• Three year warranty on Kicker components.
• One year warranty on Fusion head unit.
• Five year warranty on battery.
• One year warranty on cabinet construction.  

Local customers can process warranties directly at SMS headquarters.  Customer is responsible for two way shipping of warrantied parts.  Most parts can be directly warrantied through their respective manufacturers.
